Product Description Included in each set are 4 sets of adjustable spacing ceiling rails that can support storage bins vertically or horizontally. With a 2" opening, a variety of storage bins can be accommodated. A minimum of 18" clearance from the ceiling is required to ensure that the storage bins can be safely stored. The 27 gallon storage bin shown in the picture needs at least 18" of clearance from the ceiling to the bottom of the bin. The dual bolt connection feature enables up to 5 garage ceiling rails to be securely connected together for seamless storage. Safety bolts are included to be installed on opposite corners of the rails to keep the bins secure while in storage. Be sure to secure the rails into 16" or 24" ceiling studs to maximize storage capacity. Not fixing the rails to the studs can lead to lack of support and potential failure of the ceiling rails.
